Silly baby

Just so you know, baby and I are just fine.

Silly bugger has been very lazy the last couple of days so I called the midwife and she requested I come into the hospital just to check. And what do you know, as soon as I get up there, the kid is doing freaking cart wheels. Typical.
We were monitored for a half hour and everything returned good readings.

Such a wee monkey and she’s still got 12 weeks cooking time to go.

Not funny mini McFadzean. You make your ass wiggle more or I’m going to reach in there and give you something to wiggle about.

Popcorn as an afternoon snack. We are currently sat on the kitchen floor eating it as Tink was too impatient to walk the 5 steps to the living room.

Mermaid lessons at 10 this morning

Then off to see my lovely paramedic friend and hang out for the day

And so the sorting and washing begins. Dear god Alanah had a lot of clothing. What’s pictured is just early baby, tiny baby and up to one month. I haven’t even opened the 0-3 month stuff.

Just naughty

The merry-go-round

There is this fantastic second hand baby store in Glasgow that I’ve been meaning to go to forever and today I finally got the chance.
I didn’t really get a good chance to go through everything as mini feet was racking the place but I got a fabulously firm breastfeeding pillow for £8 (normally £28), two maternity tops for £5 and a baby name book for £1.
Plus we nicked past the farmers market and got the most incredible organic sourdough bread and beautiful oak smoked cheddar.

All 3 and a half of us are now heading to Dumfries for a walk and round two on the death slide.

Yesterday Tink and I went to Deans castle and looked at the animals in the children’s corner. There was donkeys, ponies, chickens, rabbits, goats, llamas, pigs and some rabbits. Tink was so cute and tried to mimic the noises I was making for each animal. She seems to have the baa lamb noise down.

Moan some more

I can’t win. I can’t sleep on my back because baby lays on a vessel or artery and I get light headed; I can’t sleep on my right side without waking in agony because of my sciatic nerve AND NOW, the one way I thought I could sleep, on my left side is now ruined because it’s making my left leg cramp and ache so badly.

I’m going to become a cone head and sleep standing. I don’t remember being this uncomfortable with Alanah. I love my babies but I’d just like one day off pregnancy to sleep properly.
