Two things Tink has become so much better with; hair wash and letting me brush her teeth. Normally it’s screaming and yelling but we’ve pretty much mastered both arts.
Now to fix this night time drama.
About the same amount of sleep I’ve had. Very over Alanah waking and wanting to play between 1:30 and 4:30am. Beyond exhausted.
She normally sleeps so well. I’m at a total loss as to why she’s doing it. Her routine is the same, diet hasn’t changed and I’m doing my very best to expend energy during the day.
We were hungry :-)
Put Lani in the bath half naked and blobbed the paint in and she basically wouldn’t touch it. I played with her, I gave her a spoon, I put a bit on her fingers. NO NO NO!
So today, instead of sensory play, I found out Lani doesn’t like to be dirty. I’ve run her a bath to clean the smidge that was on her, off. She freaking loves the water and especially the bubbles. I’m going to have to look up something with bubbles. Biggest issue with living in Scotland, sooo much of what we do has to be inside because it’s either raining, too soggy or just freezing.
Bum, I thought I might get a little mummy award today. Always tomorrow :-)
I made paints from flour, water and food dye. When Lani wakes from her nap we’re going to get painting :-)
Lunch in the car with mumma. We were too hungry to make it home
Awww thank you. That’s really kind of you. The necklace Tink wears is an amber teething necklace. It is an anti-inflammatory. It’s been fabulous for us, plus it’s super cute
